Intestinal probs--could this be delayed SRT SEs?

Well, for the past 8-9 days I have been having some bothersome bowel problems. I finished my SRT in mid-May.

Basically, I have had increased bowel urgency. I get these cramps very low (not far from where they did the radiation). Today I had to empty 3 times. It is not major D, but generally stools are not that well formed and sometimes on the loose side. Other days it's just been once, but things are not right.

Now, I am hoping it's just some bug or maybe even stress (this started the day I was going to get my bone density, CT Scan, and bone scan results so I was very nervous that day and the previous week).

There is no bleeding and no rectal pain.

Any ideas -- anyone get post radiation bowel problems?

Having had constipation problems from time to time, I can attest that this is a lot better, unless it gets worse!

I had no such problems until last week, so I am 7 months post SRT.

Same thing I am have been going through for the past several months.  Finished ART April 7 of this year.  It can be a bother at times.  I have learned to cope with it.  The stomach cramps are not nearly as bad as they used to be.

I would think it is mostly stress, When i run long distances, I get the runs, pun fo sure intended. Mental stress, holiday stress, psa stress, physical stress, same thing. Logo

I experienced much the same for about 1 and1/2years off and on after RT.  My wife would often hear me say, "I'm having a radiation day" and she knew where I was headed. I am pretty well back to normal now at two years.                    Merry Christmas and the best for the new year.

My RO swore that all the issues I was having were not the fault of RT. My Uro and GP both said they were, they see them often, and they expected them to continue over time. But then the RO was done with me 30 days after the last session. The other two have me for life, or until they retire and dump me on another practice. Should I live so long -
