Orgasm

I am now 33 months out from sugery and doing ok, Psa zero, no incontinence apart from a very isolated drip if turning the body in a funny position, and can lift heavy items and cough and sneeze with no leaks. I have had ED ( one set of nerves spared )and find erections very difficult, but I can live with that. Up until quite recently I could reach orgasm and spurt urine quite a distance, but now on orgasm it is dry apart from an ejection of what I would have called, many years ago, pre-ejaculate . Is this a normal thing to happen so far out from the Op. I would be interested to hear of other experiances.

Dry also here took a while to get used to but find them about the same now as before surgery.

I am 59 and 5 years post op RRP and have no Ed issues and can get rock solid errections without much problems and witout drugs,  and my psa is <.04 on every test.  The main problem I do have is orgasm.  I ejeculate urine with such force I can hit the cieling.  It is kind of comical when I think about it because when I had my prostate, my ejeculate was no more than a drible, now without my prostate, I ejeculate like a fire hose.  It is ashame you can't take a pill that will change your urine color to white.  At least if I am going to ejeculate, at least let look like seman  .  

This does put a real damper on your sex life.  Beside ejeculating urine, as soon as I get aroused, I start to drip uncontrallably. I am 100% dry all the rest of the time.  My uro says urine is steril and if you get some in your partner , not to worry, it can't hurt her.  Just try telling that to a woman!

As I understood it climacturia usually refers to the phenomon in men and women who haven't had surgery etc, that leak or ejaculate urine at orgasm, this is do to malfunction of the muscles that are meant to stay shut.
In the case of men the muscle that is meant to stay shut is at the bottom of the bladder but basically in the prostate, thus when you have a prostatectomy a great deal of that muscle may get removed, hence the problem with leaking ior squirting pee if the other musle in the pelvic floor can't stay tight duirng sex. So I'd reckon that improved continence and stronger muscles due to good Kegels are the answer.
I used to leak a lot of pee during sex, and squirted once or twice, but things have got much better. Last weekend my wife said she could feel all kinds of twitches inside her that felt like I was ejaculating massively, and everything remained totally dry. All we need to work on now is how to give me an orgasm as well.

One needs to watch out with Antidepressants as some can casue ED, not sure if Imipramine is one of them, but perhaps as well to check.

Perhaps try having sex in the shower if it's a problem for your partner, or try condoms.

Orgasms totally dry here. My cowpers gland must have been removed during the prostatectomy, as there is absolutely no pre-ejaculate at all. I kind of wish it worked, then I could cut back on the KY gel. Get friction burns without it. Ouch!

Hey TaurusBull, try Astroglide. I think it works better than KY.

We had the same issues with the spraying, and I didn't care for the way our vacuum device fit either. So my wife and I made a trip to a very upscale "Adult" store in near our home in San Francisco. The ladies there pointed us to two purchases that have helped greatly.
The first was a thick silicon sleeve that fit over the base of the vacuum. It was a bit silly in that it was made to look like the female anatomy, but I don't see how anyone could use it for pleasurable purposes other than the pleasure of using your pump pain free.
The second was a little "male mastabatory aid". I don't recall the name, but they are little silicon dome like items. They are sold in a little plastic egg, very much like if not identical to the eggs that L'eggs pantyhose used to come in. They are very soft, which is good if your erection is not of high rigidity. They are like little caps that you put over the top of your erect penis and stretch down as you *********. Somewhat like a very soft, very thick condom. The good thing is that if you do spray, they seem to hold it all in. We have had no spray, or even spillage from using them. A great relief. The down side is they say they are a one use item, so we bought several. But we have found that for men our age, they last much longer. I just wash them out after use and find they are clean, reliable, and reusable. And they actually do have a nice sensation for the purpose.

Why does it happen and how does it happen are two aspectes to this problem that I've been thinking about.
During a "normal" orgasm pre surgfery etc you squirt semen not pee, therefore the "place" where the squirting muscles are located must be full of semen "waiting to go". This place is not the bladder, but must be located somewhere between the seminal vesicles and the base of the penis.
If it's not the bladder doing the squirting in the normal situation it shouldn't be the bladder doing the squirting for PCa guys who are having this problem either.
I thus assume a "shot" of pee leaks into the urethra between the bladder and the base of the penis and finds itself in the breech when the trigger gets pulled, .
The solution therefore looks to me to be to keep the breech empty.

Dribbling pee during sex (prior to orgasm) however would just seem to be a case of the spincter relaxing and some pee slowly escaping from the bladder, something that Kegels etc should help stop or reduce.

Not sure if it helps to not drink anything in the hours preceding sex. Anyone tried having sex when they're really dehydrated, or do you have a headache?

I also notice a miniature version of this "squirt" problem in everyday life. At the point when I think I'm about to dribble the last thing I need to do is squeeze the old Kegel muscvle as that actually maeks the dribble shoot out of me, and that's no use as a squirt is more likely to leave a visible mark on the front of my pants than a dribble. (So that's the moment you'll see me walking to the abthroom in an odd way as I try to keep the dribble just inside me)
