Do you want to come to April's GFMPH but the wife or girlfriend says no

This is for the many of my PC brothers who want to come to this gathering in April but may have encountered resistance from a wife or girlfriend.

Send the resistance leader's email address and we will inundate them with so much email (hundreds of thousands) of the benefits of GFMPH they will have no choice but to let you attend with their blessings. Just this threat was enough to get my wife's blessing to go to NY last September. BTW after she realized how much fun I had she can not wait to go with me for the BR GFMPH. BTW I haven't told her about the roadkill jambalaya but she does know about Sonny's fresh caught Florida shrimp.

Other than Purgatory (I will miss not meeting David) and those living over the pond or down under, you have no valid excuse for not coming after we eliminate the encountered resistance.

The US is a big place though and I would love to come over again (the last time was way back in 1974).

Any of our HW brothers are welcome at my place. My wife and I (and “Tank” our Staffordshire bull terrier) live in what we call in Australia a “Townhouse”, which is a small house, I’m not sure what the equivalent would be in the US. Our house has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a small lounge/kitchen downstairs. We also have a small garden/courtyard out the back where we hold our Barbies (Australian slang for a Barbecue). So as long as you don’t mind a bit of a squeeze and can cope with Tank’s boisterous attention, you are welcome any time. However this time next year I plan to be in New Zealand visiting my brother. We refer to NZ as “just across the ditch” (a reference to the Tasman Sea which separates Australia and NZ) and they sometimes refer to us as the “Western Island” (in addition to their North and South Islands!). Just be mindful if you visit Australia at this time of year it can get very hot and wet. The best time to visit would be in your spring, or autumn, when the weather here is a bit less extreme. A return to the US for a holiday is on my “bucket list” for sure.
