Radiation of a single lymph node led to undetectable PSA at 24 months.

Thank you for the link to this study. It provides welcome support for Dr. Snuffy Myers' focus on treating oligometastatic prostate cancer. I found it a very interesting read, and hope more specialists consider this approach.

I would also like to add my thanks for posting this link. I recently had a long and informative conversation with a Dr. that is conducting a trial of another type of scan to find micro mets and lymph node involvement that may be causing my rising PSA.

Just for informational purposes I am posting the link to the trial. I am continuing to do research on this scan and trial, but that is a topic for another thread and discussion.

Welcome...it sounds very logical to me, glad to see there are some clinical trials. As imaging gets more accurate, I suppose a more targeted treatment will follow.

What about these links, when I want to make a link using URL button, the address gets messed up and leads to a dead link...oh well, just copy/paste.
