I was actually able to work on the roof of my pole barn the next day. Wasn't as fast as I was the day before, and didn't bend over real well, but it was really very tolerable.

Mel -- good luck and I hope you have a quick recovery; you're in my prayers.

Good luck Mel. You will recover much faster than the earlier robotic. I can remember sitting up in bed at 5a.m. the morning after surgery and thinking "I feel bloody marvelous". I think it was the drugs as I was somewhat euphoric and at peace with the world watching the sun come up through the window. Reality hit me that night when they fed me gluten free hospital food. Absolute rubbish which I am sure was really Narcan to cancel my drug induced bliss. Then I really felt sick and was pleased to go home. Would have liked to bring some of those drugs with me though.

Wishing you the best with your surgery, Mel.  May things go as planned and soon you'll be home recuperating!

Ron had this surgery several years ago and adjusting to his new "diet" was the hardest part for him.  He ended up with other problems in November.
