We came dragging in last night a 2am from the Lundi Gras (Fat Monday) parades in New Orleans. Had a Blast! I planned to go today but 2 days and night of all that fun is enough for this body.

My Daughter from Wash. St. went to her frist Mardi Gras. Family down there made a sign that she had to wear all day "MARDI GRAS VIRGIN". She got pummeled with beads all day! She wants me to pay an extra baggage fee so she can bring them home. Of course I said yes.... She's a Daddy's girl.

Thats a great story. Sounds like she had the time of her life. I know we had a blast at the parades.

We know what it means to miss New Orleans..AS a native of La.and aa resident of New Orleans for a few years we really wish we were there.My wife and I got married there years ago and our oldest daughter one year ago. Can`t wait till GFMPH!
