Terrified of another leak following catheter removal - it's now 5 weeks

Yes, we are going into Louisville Kentucky. My husbands doctor is known as one of the best. We are at 3 weeks today. The Catheter had been removed at 7 days. Then put back in at day 10. Today the cystogram showed he has just a minimal leak at the connection at the bladder. The surgeon said usually 90% would do fine pulling it. Yet, because of the pain he has already had due to the pocket of fluid, he didn't want to pull it then possibly have to go back in and put the catheter if he happened to be the 10% category. So he is waiting 2 weeks and getting a second scan of the pocket and saying will pull the catheter that day. I'm feeling from what I've read this is probably the best choice. His surgery and healing otherwise has gone great.
