Prostate Cancer “Quote-of-the-Day”

Do you have a good quote about prostate cancer that is worth sharing ?  I’ve got a few tucked away.   If you’d like to share yours, here’s a thread for the PC “quote-of-the-day.” Just a few simple rules…I would politely ask that if you can’t follow these simple rules, then please post elsewhere and not in this thread. ·          Limit yourself to no more than one new quote added to this thread per day .   If you’ve got another quote to share, then add it to this thread tomorrow . ·          Quotes only ; no added commentary about the quote, or about anything else in this thread… let the quote speak for itself .   o     The minor exception to this rule would be a brief bracketed comment to add context to the quote, but only in the exceptional cases where this is really needed. ·          All quotes are to be related to prostate cancer, and be likely of value to others in their PC journey ·          Add the source of the quote, if you know it.   Once again, I politely ask that you show a little self-restraint and suppress any urge you may have on adding commentary about your own quotes or the quotes that others add in this thread.   Let the quotes speak for themselves .   If this doesn’t get spoiled by some individual’s lack of self-restraint, or otherwise knocked off the rails, it could be interesting & educational.   I’ll post the first one (in the next post)…

But when I first got cancer, after the initial shock and the fear and paranoia and crying and all that goes with cancer - that word means to most people ultimate death - I decided to see what I could do to take that negative and use it in a positive way.
