I thought it was silly, but it did make me laugh, not always easy to do with me. The dangers of sodium nitrates in processed foods have been known for a long time.

But, I still break down and eat a few dogs from a local place called "Skins". Steamed rolls, fine ground chilli meat, and fresh onions. But never more than 2 at the time.

That is funny. I've never heard it described as "butt cancer." I might use that the next time the grandkids what grandpa to cook them up some hot dogs, "sorry but it will give you butt cancer." I am going to have so much fun with that one.

And I guess that is what is going to kill me 'cause I've eaten more than my share of hot dogs...

The only evidence I have that hot dogs might be harmful is that when I eat more than three at one setting, I throw up.

No way am I giving up America's favorite passtime treat. Baseball season is about to begin and I'm warming up the grill for the occasion :-) Bring on the mustard!

Always heard that hotdogs were made of "lips and a**holes", perhaps there is some truth to that, lol.
