Tenpin,
You are not alone on the regret issue, I unfortuatley did and have the same regret as you between my last Bx Dx and Sx. I wish in hindsight I didn't let that happen. I wish I had passionatley used the last of my prostate's time better than we did. Easy in hindsight though isn't it? The positve side of this is though, I now beleive we have been given a second chance, a life changer if you will and it has brought my wife and I even closer together and given us both a greater appreciation of our life together with a stronger desire to create great new memories from here.
By the way you're a recent RP Sx guy, just curious how has your recovery has been, continence and ED or lack of?

Rather than Hijack another thread, I thought I'd report here.
1 - PSA is ZERO. I would say cancer is gone, but I know that many men in here have a hard time hearing that.
2 - Incontenence. Coming along well. 100% dry at night. Daytime, I have only a slight drip at high stress times. (getting up from a squatting position, or yawning). At work I wear a full pad, but when I'm home, I usually go for the girly panty liners.
3 - ED - Also making progress. My latest therapy is 5mg cialis daily, and VED daily (for pump and release only), havent tried it for sex yet. I have seen some great progress. Without the pump (with some work) I can be at 60-70 percent of my former self. Still soft enough to bend, but I can feel him coming back. (previously I had tried viagra, with no success, maybe I tried that too early).
4 - Other - Back at the gym, training for my next 5k, Run for Dad (PCa fund raiser) Mercer County Park, NJ on Fathers day. I have run several 5ks before (slow, but still faster than the guys sitting on the couch eating potato chips) , and have been making this a goal of mine. Now that I am drying up, this is getting a whole lot easier. So far, my best post surgery continous run has been 2 miles. (Just 1.1 more to go).
Thanks for asking.
