Just back from another one of my trips to Amsterdam to see my uro. (or rather his Assistant as he has been handling my case from the outset; the uro just did the surgery)
PSA still at
LESS THAN 0.1
I did though mention that I have been having more BMs, and also the feeling like I need a BM quite a lot of the time, plus the odd "wet f*rt". So he phoned the RT guy who handled my SRT and they discussed this. They reckon the situation is okay so long as there is no blood in the stools. We agreed that as soon as there is any sign of blood I will get in touch in case I need a "scope". (They would then hope to be able to correct any bleeeding with medication not cauterising.)
Otherwise I now don't need to see the uro again till March 2013, but will be seeing the RT doc in August. So feeling quite pleased/relieved/calm/happy/elated.
Alf
PS While in the waiting room, I read in the newspaper that today is "steak and bj day". Never heard of it before and my wife has just told me I have to buy my own steak.

English Alf,
Good news on your latest PSA test, love hearing about
those zeros.
On the other issue, getting your own steak is definitely better than having to provide your own bj, lol.

Great news Alf.
How long have you been living in Holland?
I'm English myself, but have been in my adopted country (Australia) for 30 years.
