How to make the erection go down? If it’s lasting too long you should try a lower dose. Other than that you might take Sudafed to get it to go down. Sudafed is used as the first salvo to avert priapism (an erection that lasts too long). My instructions for an erection lasting 2 hours, are to take four 30mg tablets of plain Sudafed (not the XL Sudafed).

But, I’d talk to your doc about using Sudafed routinely for this purpose, to make sure it’s ok.

Shipper -- My dose is 0.20cc, but I know it varies for different men. I routinely get a maximum of 100% and I’m 60% or better for 40 to 50 minutes. (60% is considered penetration hardness) I also experience more intense and longer orgasms than before.

Btw, what you need for rehab is 60% or better for 10 to 15 minutes, 2 to 3 times per week; this brings fresh blood and oxygen into the penis which helps rehabilitate the erectile tissue.

I inject about half way between the head and the base, just a little towards the base, at the 2 o’clock or 10 o’clock positions, alternating sides each time.

And eventually learning the truth, as would seem likely, are things going to be better or worse?

Well you're right it isn't any of our business. And I can see at the beginning of a new relationship or having a shaky relationship when this happens to us I can see the temptation to want to hide using the needle too. Eventually though shes gonna want spontaneous sex at an awkward time where your trimix isn't available. You can take it with you on trips in a diabetic cold pack, but sooner or later she'll figure out you're doing something. Hopefully your relationship will be strong enough that it won't matter, but I certainly do understand your concern. If my wife died tomorrow and I  had to start dating again I've thought a lot about telling a new partner about using trimix and what her reaction would be.

Its easy to disquise the TRimix injection as a diabetes injection which is also take.

The injections have really worked well for me. The only problem is I sometimes still have an erection 2 hours after sex. Im on a very small dose==.15

You say 2 hours after sex.   So what’s the duration before?   Or more to the point, how long is your erection at penetration hardness (over 60%).   An erection at penetration hardness for more than 2 hours indicate that you are on too high a dose, and if this happens frequently you are more likely to eventually experience a full blown case of priapism.   Priapism deprives the penis of oxygen, and that kills the erectile tissue.   My doc wants me to stay under 90 minutes and at 2 hours I would be running for the Sudafed, which I’ve never had to do.   The longest I’ve ever gone is just over 60 minutes and only a couple of times.   And remember, all you need for rehab is 15 minutes.   You need to lower the dose.   As I said before, the dose varies for different men.   142 said in his post he takes 0.11, I use 0.20, and I’ve heard of at least one guy on the forum who needs 0.50.   Regarding scarring: there is no evidence that injecting causes scarring when the injections are done properly.   This is why you need to alternate sides and limit your injections to no more than 3 times a week.   Since you asked: I have been injecting for over 7 months.  

tigerfan53, I'm new to injecting. But I learned from my pharmacist that trimix isn't a standard formula. When filling my prescription, my Pharmacist looked at the script and told me that my doc's trimix formula is very different from other urologists in my area. Until that moment I thought trimix was trimix. It isn't the same, and my trimix may be a very different formula than yours. My doc told me that most of his patients' take .25-.30ml as mild/standard dose. He said I may need more or less. But he was only talking about what he was prescribing, not what other doctors are calling for in their trimix formulas.

So when reading your posts and others, .15 or .20 that gives one guy a two hour errection probably isn't the same strength/mixture as my .25 dose that gives me 30-40 minutes at 75%. My doc told me I could adjust up to .50ml per dose. I'm moving up to .30 at my next injection. If anyone used my doc's .50 max dose as a guide while using their doc's trimix formula it might put their willie in ICU on life support.

just saying...... can't compare apples and oranges..... trimix isn't all the same...

Am confused here-new to the forum-but is the Trimix injection you are talking about the same as MUSE injections for ED?My Dr.gave me a script for MUSE but have not tried it.

Trimix and Muse pellets are very different in delivery method.

Trimix is injected straight into the soft tissue of the penis with a syringe. Muse is a type of urethral suppository. It is deposited into the urethra (had a cystoscope?) with a sort of injector tool, dissolves, and the medication passes through the urethra wall.

Trimix and MUSE are very different. MUSE is ED medicine in a suppository about the size of a grain of rice that you insert into the urethra of your penis using a special applicator. Trimix is liquid medicine that is injected into the shaft of the penis with a needle and syringe. (Not to worry, it sounds much worse than it is … it’s really no big deal).

MUSE is, I believe, 100% prostaglandin, so it is more likely to cause burning penile pain. Some men are more sensitive to prostaglandin. Trimix has prostaglandin in it, but obviously a lesser amount, so penile pain is uncommon. My understanding is that MUSE is less effective than Trimix injections and also less consistent. Somewhere between 25 to 50% get results from MUSE, whereas over 90% get results from Trimix. And for those men who get results from MUSE, they only get erections 60% of the time. It is also more expensive than Trimix.

I have no experience with MUSE, but perhaps someone on the forum who has used it will respond to you.
