There is a good discription of all the different scans used to determine Oligomatastic cancer in that article and which are the most effective.

I just emailed my local docs this article.  I'm questioning what version of bonescan I get since I am getting one next week.  Had a CT scan last week which was stable.

I also see Dr. Myers.  He may suggest I go to Florida for a small vacation and get some scans.  We'll see.

John, thanks for posting this issue. I try to read this on a regular basis.

Read the article on recurrance, mostly the same info I have seen before, its hard to find currrent info, on recurrance after a failed secondary treatment, i.e., Surgery - recurrance, then SRT - recurrance. Most articles I have researched focus on the initial recurrance. Have you seen any specific articles or studies on secondary recurrance?

Thanks for posting the link. Their journal is always very interesting.

The conference also looks very interesting. I'm thinking of attending. $60 per person (it doubles after 6/1) is EXCELLENT. I have been to a plethora of math and education conferences and a one-day conference can easily exceed $100. This is a 3-day conference with a lot more import for us.

(For us the expense will be travel/accomodations/etc., but it really looks worthewhile).

HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN TO A PRCI CONFERENCE?
