After talking with a friend that is going through the prostatectomy recovery process, and recalling what I went through, I'd like to share what member Les, LV_TX, shared with me when I was feeling down. I consider it among the most profound advice that I have received through my journey:
-------------
IM...ED is very similar to any form of grieving. Just remember the five stages of SARAH....
S Sorrow
A Anger
R Rejection
A Acceptance
H Healing
All of us must past through these five stages in that order during our recovery with cancer.
Just food for thought. You are exactly where you should be at this point in the healing process.
Best of luck to you.You are beating back cancer, so hold your head up with dignity

I had not realized that I was going through the grieving process (especially as pertains to ED) until I got this advice. There are no shortcuts - but being aware of something makes it easier to pass through. Just thought I would share this insight that was shared to me, in case it helps anyone with their predicament today.
Les, thanks for that post.
Thanks everyone else here that has given me advice over the last several years.
