Way to go, SC, you made it! (knew you would), in the same aspect as radiation, your 6 chemo treatments are sort of an endurance contest, and you made it all the way to the finish line. i sincerely hope that nasty stuff does its magic on your cancer cells, and at some point, you get some nice downward movement on your psa.

It took 3 sticks again today. In retrospect, that port might have been a good idea.

I really am done! I was told to not come back tomorrow for my Neulasta injection. My WBC counts were very robust. Another day of dexamethasone. I am down to one Prednisone tab a day for the next week and then no more.

No mo chemo!

The first celebration is on Friday night, July 6. A certain tour comes into town.

Awesome that you finished the six!! Wishing only the best for you! Second infusion for hubby tomorrow. We have been so fortunate that SE has been almost non existent and he had a great weekend with increased energy. So helpful to go back and read the posts of everyone on these journeys for us newbies. Love the pic! Attitude is everything!

Hooray!! Those low PSA numbers are indeed my envy! Supposedly, like radiation, it may take a while (after the infusions are over) for my numbers to come down to nadir.

Did you do a "Touchdown dance"?

Anyway, best of luck, and any day you can actually taste your food is a "good day"!

Ok, I suppose this is Mr. Taxotere's last big stand. He is kicking my butt today. Lots of fatigue. Flu-like aches. No energy. Thursdays (Day 3) tend to be the hardest days. I should start pulling out of this in a day or two. And, then, no mo' chemo.
