Just got back from seeing my URO.

Post RT PSA: 1.9 Down from 4.2

He was very happy with the result and so am I! It's relief knowing that my choice of treatment is working.

So far the side effects of the radiation have been limited, bowel irritation, a little depression early on and now a little bit of ED (likely due to stress). Nothing that really needs extra treatment or testing but he said to come back if anything got worse.

My URO said to retest in six months. He was very confident that in my case the radiation has done the trick but did warn about a bounce in PSA and to watch the long term trend not any individual test.

Well looks like party time at my place.

Thanks for all the supportive comments. I've been second guessing my choice of treatment but now it looks like it's going to pay off.

and my Uro and RO are both very confident that I'll only need the one treatment.
