I agree with your findings too. The 50% ED rate is attrocious, especially for the men who indeed to have an indolent cancer that would never harm them in their lifetime. Though I was just plain "lucky" in both the ED and incontinence departments, many more men aren't as fortunate. For those that struck out in the ED, I mean the long term ones, you cant help but wonder, if they wish they could go back in time, and perhaps not be treated, or at least not treated with surgery.
I have become a big promoter of AS, only wish I had had that option. Even if AS bought a man 5 years before needing any treatment, that would be a great 5 years in terms of QOL issues. And now that "seeding" has become much more developed and improved, wish more men would consider it before surgery. I do feel that some men get caught up in the technology and perhaps the romance of Robotic Surgery (call it a guy thing), when in reality, they should be thinking harder what life will be with severe ED and/or incontinence in the picture.
