As many of you know, I was treated by Proton Radiation at the IU Health Proton Therapy Center for my PCa. So far I am having a good result, and I am a believer in the use of Proton Radiation where appropriate due to the nature of the proton beam and reduction in many of the historical side effects that come with treatment. Like many other proton patients, I am a member of the "Brotherhood of the Balloon" which is perhaps the best known proton support site on the net. Now they have instituted a new site that is available for use by anyone who goes there, without the need for being a "member."
I offer this as simply another source of information for anyone considering treatment. Is it "biased" in favor of proton therapy? Obviously. But, I (and many others) would say, biased for a reason--effective noninvasive treatment! No desire to start a discussion either for or against proton with this post, but rather to provide the site for anyone interested in looking at it.
