PSA down again - 10 months post-brachytherapy

PSA results from Friday's visit to my GP following annual physical :

Results were down to 1.23 from last month's visit at the urologist's office, where it was 1.5. The latest results are 10 months post brachytherapy, and I'm delighted that it's continuing to trend downward. Maybe not as fast as others, but I think I'm eventually on way down to an undetectable NADIR.

Great news and we are all looking forward to seeing you have continued drops. After my Brachy treatment I went immediately to 0.1 and have had 7 straight 0.1s. All patients react differently, but what is important is the absolute nadir not the time period in which it is reached.

Great news. Expect a continued downtrend, but be prepared for it to take 2-3 years to reach <.1. I dropped like a rock, but had a lot of HT to reduce the PSA Radiation alone takes longer.
