@Prat -
I just wanted to say that my comment is based more on the idea that the good news outweighed the level of service in such a large way, that it is hard for me to see your concern. My point of view, three years out, is that there are an infinite number of things that I would sacrifice happily to get my old life back. A late phone call does not even register.
Steve made a good point about end of year. Last week I listened to the guy before me get mad and yell at the nurse because they didn't have samples of the specific ED pill he wanted. Why didn't they have them? The drug rep had gone through the year's allocation. What could the nurse do about that? How would that verbal battering make those in the office handle the rest of the day?
So did I get the type of sample I come to depend on? No. They were out. But I did get what the other guy turned down and then some, because I was polite. At $20 plus a pill, I can grovel a bit where needed. I'll try something new this week.
Do you need to accept bad service? Generally no, but I guess that depends on your insurance network, and how far you are willing to go to see a different uro. It is up to you. Some have limited access if staying in-network, and just have to suck up. Others have some exciting options all in a day's drive. I am somewhere in between.
