Introduction

I just read your post Chief. My husband had removal of the prostate on Dec. 18th and we go tmw to have his cath removed and also the staples. He had to have an open surgery due to excessive scar tissue from a previous colon surgery.
I had to have my husband mute the TV just now so I could read your post about the morning wood. He also has had this happen but wasn't sure if this was a good thing or bad. He is very happy to hear that it is good news. Hope you have the beginning of a GREAT new year as we are looking forward to one also.

Update: The Dr chose not to remove the cath or his staples. Seems he has gotten an infection in the lower abdomen staples. More antibiotics. The ride to Memphis (2 hrs) was a killer for him. We try again next Tues.

6 wks later 2nd PSA - 7.5
Diag 11/9/12 - 7 of 8 biopsies positive
11/13 - Bone Scan and CT Scan
11/16- Met with Dr. Cole - Not spreading - Gleason 3+4
Possibly - Robotic removal
11/27 - Meet with Surgeon for consult
12/18 - DaVinci scheduled
12/18 - Unable to do the DaVinci, had to do an open surgery
01/02 - Going to see both surgeons hopefully for the last time
