Kinda Off Topic- Great Way to begin the Year

I have been around and checking in on you folks every few days. Haven't had much that I could add to most posts. And to be honest I have been just enjoying the hell out of every one of my "Bonus Days.

So last night I decided to ring in the New Year in a new and improved fashion, I took a date and went out in my boat for a night of shrimping. We had a great time. Saw some of the fire works shows from the water. And caught a nice mess of shrimp for a great holidays snack and munch meal, while watching some of the football games.

Yeah, I know at last test my PSA was 36, but I am truly taking my Onco's advice and forgeting about it until April. I check on ya'll because I care about my friends, but other than that I don't think about Pca much at all. I am truly enjoying life and all it all it has to offer me at this point. I don't have my head buried in the sand about it, but it is not effecting my health or my life at this point.

I still very much believe that "Every Day is A Bonus".

I hope that each of you experiences a terrific 2013 and that you and your families have a year that is truly to remember for the absolute joy and experiences it may bring you.

Having fun trumps, singing the blues....I saw the movie Forest Gump (who didn't), now tell me again how many ways you can cook shrimp???? (lol- now that was funny) How easy is shrimp'n I'm a darn yankee up here and more of the bass-o-matic type. (lol)

Like you, I see my oncologist again in April, between now and then, the old PC will do what
it wants to do, and its honestly the least of my concerns.

David, Ron and I were thinking about you last night - so I wanted to check up on you!

I hope your wife is feeling better and just take each day as them come.  You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Ron goes for a 3 month PSA test in February.  I am a little bit afraid but won't share my fears.  He had been at .01 for two years, but ws .09 last time.  I will keep you posted!

Reminds me of a similar event, same circumstance and pretext. All went well until the anchor light battery died in the night, and the Coast Guard hailed me at 0300 for a "courtesy safety inspection". Real mood breaker.

Always good to hear from you Sonny! Sounds like a great New years Eve and and glad you enjoyed the time. I remember the good old days when I could see the New Year in and hopefully will again soon.
