OK. I'm bringing surprises and all I'll say is it comes in 750 ml bottles.

The wampuscats and cmetalmen are inviting anyone who wants to join us Wednesday evening in NOLA . Dinner at Dick and Jenny's. My mouth is watering for dem fried oystures dy got der.

Dianne and I will be spending Thursday night in Hattiesburg MS to combine a business trip for my wife and pay for our gas to GFMPH. Wish we could get to NOLA on Wednesday night to join y'all.  We may have to visit Dick and Jenny's the night before our GFMPH cruise in December.

Really the best surprises at GFMPH events are each time a car drives up or someone new enters the circle and the ensuing greeting happens. OH I love it. can anyone describe it better than me, please?
How exciting will it be when we first set eyes on Peterdisabelard? And when Bud walks in or on and on....HUgs and holler in.
Those are the best surprises.

Oh good. The pressure is off. Here I was thinking I would have to think up a surprise, too, but now I find out that I, myself, am my own surprise! All I have to do is show up.

Oh Boy!!! It is sure getting close to the gathering.

It is now the time that I need to start gathering T-shirt sizes for the Baton Rouge 3rd Annual GFMPH commemorative shirts. This shirt is soooo special that they have been requested to be auctioned off on ebay.

There have been 6 GFMPH gatherings to date, 4 in NY and 2 in Baton Rouge. I personally have made it to 5 of them. The only reason I missed the first one in September 2009 was because I was in Detroit that week having surgery.

Every one who has ever been to one of the gatherings will tell you that their lives have been changed and enriched. I will tell you that I have made friends that have filled holes in my soul that I did not know existed. So having a shirt that memorializes the date is something to be cherished.

So you folks that are attending need to start chiming in with your sizes for both you and your partner. I need to go to press soon. Don't wait too late and miss out.

In all of our travels back and forth to M.D Anderson in Houston, I never cared where we stayed as long as I had packed enough Community coffee to last throughout the stay. Anything else is just muddy water.

Mud bugs are awesome! Muddy water, not so much. We do have mud consumption standards. :)

I moved to Washington State over 30 years ago. Can't tell ya how many "CoonAss care packages" were sent to me containing Community Coffee, and other Cajun Delights. No place like home.

i just looked at the calendar and in 40 days we will be in full swing! Some are going to show up a bit early and get a bit of camping in as a warm up.

My goodie bad package arrived yesterday for you guys.

Im getting really excited about seeing all of you.

I've been telling some of my customers and relatives that Wife and I are going to New Orleans for our 23th anniversary and meeting up with our "friends" in Baton Rough...I like the sound of that.
