Sag - good report. See you also have no ED, even with partial nerve bundle removal.
On my left side, I can't say I have felt anything in particular. Having my errections feeling normal from the start, can't say they felt stronger on one side or the other. Obviously, my right side must be very strong on its own, even though it was considered "damaged".
I find the entire process very complex and intriguing, and thus is why we see so much variance in the men here, especially those battling ED even with nerve sparing. Makes you really wonder what makes the difference from person to person.
For now, I will enjoy the gift I was given. I was told that RT would ultimately mess up my good fortune, but I am over 3 years out from SRT, a lot of radiation (72gys) and as we all know, was administered very wrong. So far, the radiation has had zero effect sexually for me. The only thing I can remember, was perhaps for 6 months after it ended, my orgasms felt muted, instead of the normal strong feelings I experiened post surgery. But that resolved itself.
I know not all men would agree with this statement, because it is personal and subjecctive. But 4 years plus post surgery, I would not trade back for my old wet orgasms. No way. The new way eliminates the mess, opens up some creative opportunties, and the orgasms I experience easily last 3-5 times longer than pre-surgery, and all so much more intense. Afraid my poor heart can't take it sometimes, lol. My cowpen's gland was left in place and working, so there are times, that its very convincing that I am releasing a real load (not to be crude), still amazes me that there is nothing there when I am finished, but it sure simulates like it did pre surgery.

Yep, what else can be said. You have been dealt some bad cards, but at least you can enjoy the good cards which have also been dealt you. It almost sounds like surgery- intended to be non-nerve sparing- actually ended up improving your sex life over all. This is very hard to comprehend for folks like me. My surgeon put it this way: "no attempt was made to either spare or save any nerves.". He told me before surgery that I would have ED that was not responsive to pills, but no problem, I could just inject. 1 year, 9 months later no spontaneous twitch and none with pills, as predicted. Also no really usable responses with injections, just lots of ache. What's the rule, a 6 out of 10 is the minimal usable for penetration? I'd say I always got a 5, at least as long as I remained standing. Quickly went to zero if laying down. Quality of those oh so rare orgasms: never good, and often downright unpleasant. ( I didn't even know that part was supposed to be damaged). I don't even bother with pills or shots anymore, or any sexual attempts. What with unpleasant orgasms- and good old climacturia- it is just not worth jumping through all of those hoops. Pretty much the opposite of your experience in almost every way.
How to explain such? I have no clue, other than the luck of the draw already mentioned. But like you said, missing those nerves apparently meant something else was missed, something you don't want.
Now, even after RT, you are experiencing super erections which are almost too strong. Even if all of your nerves managed to grow back, you appear to be stronger than before surgery and RT working with your original nerves. I have no idea how such a thing could be. It's as though you went and had some surgery and RT to greatly boost your sexual function. Life is so strange.
Is there any therapy or supplement or medication you have taken that could account for such? Didn't you once say something about
hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
