what do folks find works to minimize odoriferous incontinence pads.

i currently use depends real-fit briefs and "always" pads.

after short while ... whew!.. quite ripe.

wondering if there are odor control products out there

4/2011 PSA 3.73
5/2012 PSA 5.31

11/2012 biopsy Gleason 3+4 56 years old (r base only) , 40% one specimen
12/2012 LARP 48 gm, cancer both lobes, pT3a extraprostatic extension R base, margins negative
gleason 4+3. lymph nodes negative (2)
Cath out 7 days post-op, +incontinent (improving), + ED
Awaiting tumor board recommendation on RT
1/11/2012 dry in morning.

change them more frequently and empty the trash can daily.

I had a real problem with that too. While figuring out what to do, I found I was getting closer to being continent. Interesting and one can only hope that happens in your case.

When I mentioned this to the URL, they recommended changing brands, keeping clean, etc. also eating asparagus and other things that make tinkle smelly should be noted. And what Desertrat1 says too.

But,also keep in mind:
"Urine odor can be a symptom of a variety of conditions, including infection, inflammation, or other conditions of the urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). Urine odor can also be caused by diseases, such as diabetes and dehydration, which affect the urinary tract as well as other body systems."

And then there's -> Asparagus

Not to mention Vitamins and Supplements can add to the odor.

If you are using a female pad as a liner, they do have different odor control substances. Try a depends or tena men's guard, and change more often.

I think Depends and Tena stocks have gone up with my DaVinci. I was considering opening a warehouse.

And yes, the foods / liquids you ingest contribute to odors, as well as infections.

From my research at the time, The Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Walgreens house brands of male guards were the same manufacturer, just different exterior wrap. They are pretty heavy, so depending on your leakage rate, you may be changing them more often than seems economical. But as I saw it, I wanted to be dry, so I changed often, and the pads were not always "filled".
