semi rigid penile implant

Following the removal of my bladder, prostate and urithra (in '09)erections have been zero.  I've tried injections - painful afterwards, pump - only partially sucssesful and meds like Viagra - no effect whats-so-ever.

Dr is now ('13) suggesting a semi rigid penile implant but it will be erect permenantly - help! how is that in reality? what are the pros and cons - what's your experience?

You might find some feedback on this style of implant at Franktalk.org. There is a section that deals just with implants. You can sometimes find more info than you want to know but still it is a good source for discussion of implants. I like several other that post on this site have a three piece inflatable inplant.

Hey limplogin

I second Knotreel 's suggestion about looking at franktalk.org . They discuss things in a frank and open manner that might not be considered suitable for a site such as this. You will find everything you ever wanted to know. (And some things you didn't want to know.)

By the way, Knotreel is one of my heroes. Implants were suggested to both of us around the same time but only he was brave enough to have it done.
He is an expert - while I remain a limp wimp.

Yep go visit Franktalk.org. There are lots of guys with experience there with implants.
