Well six years later with advanced Dx, My PSA is 0.01.
I've been feeling some bone pain and when I broke my thumb in October it's been a slow heal. Vogelzang and I just chatted through EM and he thinks my T levels are an issue. A little history there, when I was diagnosed I had a low T level of 219. And history in our family of low T exists. So it is, after three years on HT and after a long history of low T, he suspects my bone pain is Osteoporsis, at least mild. We are talking about
DEXA scans and will follow through. My T levels for today are at 263. It's a disappointing drop. He will consider supplementation but is really against it because of my advanced Dx. Basically it's up to me.
For now, it's time to test bone mineral density and make decisions from there.
All in all good. The good Lord has taken care of me and so has Nick. I am very happy working with Vogelzang on my case, and as a mentor in my volunteer activities. I'll see him more these days outside the clinic at SWOG, ASCO, AUA, UsTOO, PCRI...etc.
Good days folks. Peace and love to all here...
Tony
