Just thought I'd post this for info. Probably not related to the RALP or the PNI found at path. But it has caused me to stop kegels and drop all exercise (that was hoping to fight any BCR).
Had both 3 mth check with uro and my annual physical with primary last week. Reported to them some increasing pain am having from r. perineal area that also radiates to upper thigh and lower r. abdomen. Hurts to do kegels. Worsens when sitting. Not hemm. condition, since it is not rectal and got clear colonoscopy last fall.
Uro said could possibly be another thrombosed vein like one he had found, and removed gratis, next to my prostate. But otherwise I got the feeling from him of "we just do prostates!". (just kidding, doc). He said stop the kegels as I have got most the benefit by now that I ever will get.
Primary said it seemed muscular/skeletal, wants me to try 4 aleves/day for month and then check again.
I have been researching on web. Seems like pudendal neuralgia from my biking days (3-4 hrs/day) plus computer work sitting. When I push index finger into r. perineal area just where thigh/butt joins, get vibrations like New Madrid quake in Missouri rang Liberty Bell in Philly. PN diagnosis is by exclusion only, but I have the symptoms: burning or stabbing pain along pudendal nerve path, worse when sitting, does not wake at night from it, other cause not apparent, etc. Advice on PN forums is stop everything except maybe swimming and hope the nerve hasn't gotten so bad that it can never heal. Hurts like heck sometimes, and I hate idea of stopping all exercise.
Just putting some more info into the healingwell base, though prolly PCa related only in passing.
