I must have done good. Dendreon has asked if I would be willing to visit the production facilities in Los Angeles and Atlanta. I will be speaking to the people where my three doses.wee.made first and then going east.

Let me know when you will be in Atlanta and I'll get you a what-to-do list like the one for St. Pete. I have friends and family there, too. One thing that will certainly be on the list is the Georgia Aquarium. It is simply astonishing -- not to be missed.

Thanks PDAD. I don't think I will be there a very long time. Most likely just one day to speak and the day before and after as travel days. If I get an extra day AI will let you.know. Todd

I have talked to them. We men must be our own advocate. Nobody is going to do it for us. The first step is to call the hotline. It can be found at Provenge.com. they will hook you up with a prescribing physician in your area. once the medication has been prescribed it is simply a matter of getting the insurance company to pay for it. If the insurance company refuses to pay for it and the patient exhausts the appeals procesz then the patient will qualify for the patient assistance program. men who are interested in doing this drug must simply not take the word no for an answer. we will beat this crap but we may have to put on the boxing gloves to do it. I only live an 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta, right off of I-85, if you have time to make a small side trip. would love to meet with you if possible.

What an honor for you and you make us all so proud. 

I live in Birmingham and only a 2 hour drive to Atlanta so I think between me, JNF Purg and a couple other HW Ga members we could have a mini GFMPH gathering for lunch in Atlanta. We could show the Dendreon people the strength of HW and our support for each other.

I am game and will do everything possible to help organize a meeting of the brotherhood with Todd and anyone else that can attend.

I would also love to tag along to the Dendreon meeting as an observer...no telling when I might be a customer. Todd, perhaps you could ask if you could bring some of us as observers to the plant tour.

Okay. So the unofficial date for the town hall meeting at the dendreon Factories Are March 18th and 19th in Los Angeles At the field beach facility And on the 27th of March in Atlanta Georgia. Depending on the time I speak I will either fly in 1 day prior or 2 days prior. I would fly home on the 27th After the Town Hall dial meeting. So far that is all I know I will post more specific when they become available If I fly in 2 days prior to the 27th I think it would be real easy to get together with my brothers. If I fly in only 1 day prior then it will be a tad more challenging. Nothing however is impossible. Todd

Thanks Todd, I have you on my calendar. If Dendreon is game, we could probably have several HWers attend from the surrounding area.
