I had a robotic prostatectomy in August 2011. Pathology report gave me a pT3a. Doc said negative margins(although path report says <1mm to the margin and multiple points), negative seminal vesicles and negative Lymph nodes. All has been good since with undetectable PSA consistantly at <0.03. I just again looked at my path report and it says no tumor in the one lymph node(0/1) and no tumor seen in two(0/2) lymph nodes, but on the next page it says Lymph Node involvement Positive/Total Right Pelvic (0/2) and Left Pelvic (0/1). So what does positive mean.. that they were checked?? Little confused, thought abut emailing my Dr and asking. Any thoughts?? Also Dr didn't think radiation was needed at this point.
