I just completed my third round of chemo with Jevtana. Before starting this round, my PSA was 11,000.. less than three months ago it was 660, 3 weeks ago was also 11,000.
I feel ok except for a little diarrhea from recent chemo, intense bone pain from 2-3 months ago is all gone. Oncologist said I would have complications and serious side effects if this PSA was for real. He is still thinking cancer cells are being killed off, but in 3 weeks if no change he will order another bone scan and do a roaming cancer marker.
My prostate cancer is in my bones, I've been on chemo before and this never happened. Also, I read that there could be a surge with PSA with some people the first 1-3 times when starting on chemo.
Anyone have any professional advice?

All recent labs came back normal including red and white blood cells.

I have nothing to offer. Other than hugs and hopefully your doc figures this out.
Also - good thoughts and prayers that you do NOT get any pains
Hugs
