Why is the time screwed up?

My posts seem to indicate a time that is one hour off.

For example, I am posting this at 9:55AM and it will say 8:55 AM.

Probably related to our moving the clock forward an hour earlier this month.

But, when I check the profile, it says my time is set to Eastern Time Zone. I guess I can change that, but I am in the Eastern Time Zone. Is HW screwed up, time-wise?

Mel, I noticed the same thing. When I went into my profile to check the time, it said that no adjustment is made for Eastern Daylight time and I guess that's true since my posts are off by one hour.

Changed time to Caracas time.

Checking to see if this now works

OK, I am now showing the correct time.

Does this mean I have to move to Caracas?

in nearly 5 years here, the time shown at this site on my computer has never been right, but it didn't matter to me

Mel, according to Zufus having PCa puts us in the twilight-zone.  So, HW is set to twilight time which is GMT minus 6 or 7 depending on whether you are on eastern twilight time or central twilight time.  Of course if you are on pacific twilight time all bets are off.  Hope this is perfectly clear.  If not, it's your meds...

What about us on mountain twilight time? Here in the state of legal weed it's kind of hazy.

Maybe your PC needs some POM lubricant. May not help, but it will taste good when you lick the screen.

the time here is always correct - maybe because we have no daylight savings time or maybe because hawaii is wonderful??

Ziggy, we in the east refer to you guys as flyover territory...didn't know you had your own time zone...LOL.  But, as you point out, recent Colorado law makes it difficult for you guys to tell time anyway!

Before the baseball Rockies and Diamondbacks came into being we were known as the time zone without a team. Only the Rockies remain on MDT because Arizona doesn't observe daylight time. Talk about confusing. I use to stay in a Mesquite, NV Casino which is on PDT and the AZ border and play golf in St George Utah where you had to get MDT tee times. The Drive there on I-15 is about 35 miles of which 10 miles are in AZ. There's a 9 hole GC off an AZ exit I have no idea what time zone they use for tee times.

BTW Mountain time is the best place to watch NFL football. Monday night games start at 7:00 Sunday Night at 6:30. Sunday day games at 11:00 and 2:00ish No games start too early or end too late. I grew up in EST so I really appreciate MST in comparison.

A righteous man to quote Zufus (lol).....not exactly a Confucius  or  Einstein or the Dali Lama....I am on a higher plain than that, having exerienced atleast 9 different PCa drugs over 10.5 yrs., you get to find dimensions and vistas you didn't know existed, time and space are unknowns, except perhaps only those episodes in the twilight zone.  There must be something to that phrase....'better living through chemistry'..... cool
