Day 13 post-op, follow-up with doc (4/17/13)
staples out - check
catheter out - check - after initial spillage, control excellent, left treatment room with just boxers on, but went immediately to change into depends & pad for insurance. Started having some urgency to urinate and have had that several times today with some discomfort, and saw some bigger bloody pieces - are these the clots talked about
and the reason for the urgency/discomfort feeling?
path report - excellent - Gleason changed from (3+4) to (4+3), 25% tissue involvement, margins % nodes clear, tumor pT2b N0 MX). Doc said this was the best kind to have.
feeling good and going back to work Friday.
Thanks for your support & encouragement and most of all the information going into this cancer thing for the first time.
On to more healing.

Had my 2 month post-op appt and my PSA is undetectable (<.01) and all other labs were good. Continence is pretty good, minor leaks, mostly mid-afternoon thru evening (I'm figuring my body is getting tired by then) and when I'm moving around too much like walking, but have only needed 2-3 pads for 24 hrs. The doc ordered vitamin V and a VED to start therapy. Starting to see some blood flow and what may be early signs of morning erections so doc was pleased to hear that. Overall doing well.
