60 day post op psa

Blessings dear friends in the fight, Jim here again looking for some counsel, had the robot feb15, psa 23.85 Gleason 4+3 . Had my 60 day post op test psa still 23. Radiologist has me to do bone scan and cat again tomorrow friday the 19th. I got the impression from him due to the velocity of the psa, he wants to pass on radiology, which means chemo(I,m assuming) on a previous post I was instructed not to wait to long for treatment, however the doctors here told me I needed time for my insides to heal, before any other treatment showed be proformed. Do y,all think 60 days out, I need to push the agenda, or am I inline with things? Any other advise would be greatly appreciate, I,m also using baking soda in an attempt to change my ph levels, anyone out there try this method? Hi Jim,

So sorry to hear of your post-op PSA.

Have you seen a medical oncologists? There are many other treatments that might be recommended before chemo. Usually they may start you on HT, unless I am missing something in your stats from previous posts?

Sorry to hear of your PSA, dang it!
I was told if I needed further treatment after surgery that I would need to wait until the continence got better before we started.

Jim,

Sorry to hear that, obviously surgery didn't do the trick for you. I would be wanting to see a top notch oncologist, with heavy PC experience, before moving on to the next treatment. Good luck.

Jim,

Sorry to hear about your PSA. Kinda sucks, but oh well...

I'd at least push the program in terms of understanding what sort of therapy they are talking about next. No reason not to do some homework while you heal. Also, if it will be a combined therapy that includes hormones that might be able to start sooner than the rest.
