Yes: You will feel freaky using it at first. I did. But just remember that you were dealt a "bad hand" and now things don't work as they once did. In order to get back to normal, this will be one of many of the things that most of us will have to do. Take your Cialis (5 mg. per day), use your pump daily, and perhaps use injections to jump start things after enough healing has taken place. Most doctors do not tell us that it usually takes most of us over a year to have intercourse again. And they don't tell us that we have to WORK at getting back to normal. You must realize that if you want to be normal again, you should do everything possible and take it very seriously. I never thought that I would be sticking a needle into my pecker!
There are a few of us that are very lucky and don't suffer any ED after surgery, but most of us have a long road to recovery. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results quickly. My ED was so bad that just the thought of sex or seeing my attractive wife undress would actually cause my pecker to shrink further! (it was like I was stuck in reverse). Now at 21 months I am back to normal and can have good sex wtihout any aids! I don't know whether I would have improved without the use of Cialis, the pump, and injections. But I didn't want to gamble with something this important. Above all, don't get discouraged or depressed since that will only make things worse regarding ED! Try to relax and let yourself heal. Good luck.
