i guess I can now make my final post on this thread.

Sherry and I have safely arrived back at home in Orlando. Long day of driving, but we would not have missed the excitement of delivering Jeff and Pat's new traveling home for anything.

Called Jeff to tell him we were home safe and he told me they were already set up at the campground, had a fire lit and were enjoying adult beverages. Life is good.

And once again life proves out that indeed "Every Day is A Bonus".

The pics looked great. I hope you don't plan on pulling your vet behind the motor home (haha). Can't wait to see it.

Since several people have asked... GFMPH in Rochester is Sept 27, 28, 29, 30. We have the space so don't be shy about showing up. Come early and stay late. We'll feed you - and will supply water and power to the RVs.
I'll send out more info as we get closer.

We took the MotorHome out this weekend for her shake down trip. Went to a camp ground about 1 hr from our house. Saturday afternoon Mr and Mrs WorryWart came with Mr Warts son. He is an amazing musicain and played guitar and sang for us all afternoon.

We sat by the camp fire and had drinks and fixed some dinner for all to enjoy.

Talk about a great Mini-GFMPH

Driving it is different. After driving a Honda (Big Mike) is a monster on the road. I got comfortable after a few miles. This thing really drives fine. Setup was quick and easy. Were ready for the next trip but will have to wait for a month. Next 3 weekends are taken.

Cajun Jeff - all kidding aside, so very happy for you and your new toy, it will open up new and better travel ways for you all in the future. I am so tired of towing a travel trailer, and hoping to at least switch to a Class C at some point

Sure wish you had an excuse to come back to SC, we could hook up RV's at a really great RV park on one of our local lakes (see Crooked Creek RV park on Lake Keowee), this is where we store our during the season. We could get lots right on the lake front. Would love to see you again, since I can't travel far or much anymore.

Worried Jeff:

I should know in the next few days, we are booking another Carnival cruise in September, but I believe its early or mid-September. My wife has a difficult time getting an entire week off at a time, so she is waiting for approval. My point, is I believe with your next meet being late in September, I would be able to do both. As you remember, I wanted to come to your original gathering, but was in the hospital at the time, and you guys blew up my catheter bag and sent me a clip. It really did hurt laughing, but it was worth it.

I would love to come this fall, my wife would not be able to attend. So as soon as I know when and if her vacation request is approved, I will want to get in touch with you right away. Once I know that the dates won't cross each other up, I am ready to make flight reservations. I just can't remember which airport you were closest to.

WorriedGuy and Sonny3 - I had a nice telephone chat with Terry about the Dec 1 cruise and then tried to send you each an email.

We do our camping at nearest Hilton or Marriott but would like to join you at GFMPH in Rochester is Sept 27, 28, 29, 30. plus help Sonny/Sherry with the logistics of the April 2014 GFMPH, since we are only an hour or so away.

Thanks. Just form the couple of phone calls we have already had, plus from reading the various GFMPH threads, we are looking forward to meeting all of you in Rochester.

Jeff in NY - when you get a chance let me know by email the closest Hilton or Marriott to your compound. Karen and I do our best camping at those establishments since I have a ton of hotel points from when I traveled every week on business from 1998 to 2005.
