TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Men who are bashful about needing help in the bedroom no longer have to go to the drugstore to buy that little blue pill.

In a first for the drug industry, Pfizer Inc. told The Associated Press that the drugmaker will begin selling its popular erectile dysfunction pill Viagra directly to patients on its website.

Men still will need a prescription to buy the blue, diamond-shaped pill on viagra.com, but they no longer have to face a pharmacist to get it filled. And for those who are bothered by Viagra's steep $25-a-pill price, Pfizer is offering three free pills with the first order and 30 percent off the second one.

I read the article, and noted they mentioned online offshore sources as counterfeit viagra. If thats true I sure would like the plates. The "counterfeit" stuff has a powerful "placebo" effect.

I'll stick with my current mail order at about 1.20 per pill and no visit needed and no script either,(even though I had one) but you do have to answer a few personal questions and you get 10 free to boot.  ;)   Hey at that price you can afford to PRACTICE a little between games...;)

They should be ashamed selling it still for 25 bucks a pill.....very sad indeed.imo

wait a minute - $25 per pill?!?
no wonder my Uro suggested I try levitra first. I thought that was bad enough at $8 per pill.

Just be careful about where you order on-line. The most counterfeited drugs are those for ED and a very high percentage have been found to not only contain varying amounts of active ingredients, but harmful chemicals as well.

Dunno, but it seems like plunking down $25 would cancel out the effect of the pill itself.

My $35 monthly co-pay for a dozen blues is a bargain.
