I read or heard somewhere and did google but couldn't find, that only the male human and the male dog have a prostate. Any one know. Low priority question.

I think the factoid is that only men and dogs are given to prostate cancer. All male mammals have prostates.

I just read in Walsh's book, meat eating mamals have a prostate but herbivores have a prostate and seminal vesicles. We humans have both. So maybe we should be vegan?

It is in Walsh's book, which Hubby and I thought interesting as we are vegetarians/almost vegans. But alas, only since last July.... ;)

My Black Lab obviously has no prostate problems, he can pea on every bush for mile when we walk together.

I know elephants have them, just read a case about one with prostate problems, not cancer
