June 6th came and went last Thursday. I knew it was a significant dare but could not remember why. D-day that's right..... problem solved. I realized while responding to another post that was the real significance about
Thursday. Although it is nothing compared to the beaches at Normandy, to me the meaning holds the same promice of liberation.
Thursday was the seven year anniversary of my Diagnosis of stage 4 prostate cancer. Sorry mods, I am bucking the rules on this one. " Glory to God as I understand him/her!!!. What has changed in the last seven years?
The fact that June 6 came and went without remembrance is what has changed. After seven years I no longer dwell on the cancer or how long I will live. I think about
the future again and yet I live each today for the gift that it is. I am planning my retirement and vacations no longer thinking about
cancer. Sure its always there and most likely always will be but it does not define who I am. It does not dictate my future. I will turn 50 this December 2. You are all invited to the party. We will be drinking tequila. Todd

I have known you almost 5 out of that 7, and have seen you transform in so many ways. Your PC battle and journey will always be one for the record books. Hope you will be enjoying all of your next decade, your fifties. Congratulations.

MLN. If you have ever been told to stick it where the sun don't shine, that is where I live. 2 hours south of Seattle on Interstate 5 and 10 miles up S.R. 504 towards Mt.St.Helens. Thank you and thank you Purg.

Todd,
You share a birthday with my first child. It was one of the two best days of my life! I've got two children. What a rock star you are now! Said daughter is almost a fully fledged actor/director in a few months, and will be 29 yrs old this year. She grew up to be a rock star too! Born extremely prematurely (3 months early) at 2.7lbs in 1984, on ventilator for a while, had a cardiac arrest and was recuss'd at 5 weeks, in hospital for 3 months, and no ill effects whatsoever once she came home... Grew perfectly and now taller than me. Must have something to do with the date of her birth. All the best to you and yours.. Please have a nip for us at your 50th. Lana

Continue to celebrate life, Todd!
Hard to believe in just a month, we will have already been on this journey for two years. It seems like it was in slow motion as we went through everything, yet looking back it flew by.
So, we're celebrating life also. :)
Here's to decades upon decades of happiness.

Congratulations, Todd. Hey, while I'm typing this, a Provenge commercial is playing on TV. Are you in any of those commercials, or do they use actors?
