My Testosterone level is upper 200's low 300's, is it completely out of the question to get test injections?
It's not out of the question, and urologists are increasingly prescribing it. Usually they will want to monitor your PSA and T levels more frequently, at least for a while. If one's baseline T level was higher than what it is now, another strategy sometimes tried is to use hCG and/or Clomid to restore natural production. If one's baseline T level was naturally low, as often happens in men who later are diagnosed with prostate cancer, supplementation may help. Transdermals might give the same benefit as injections, while sparing one from the peaks and valleys. Everyone seems to have a different minimum T level necessary for good libido.
Some researchers have noticed a drop in T levels following RP or RT, but no one is exactly sure why it happens. Perhaps the prostate plays some as yet unknown role in our T production. In my case, my T levels came back on their own after about
a year and a half.
