Groin Pain after walking

I have been experiencing a nagging uncomfortable ache in my groin after walking which only goes when I put my feet up it is ok when I get up in the morning but sometimes gets worse later in the day .I am 4 months post prostatectomy and have been told to rest more. Ultrasound of testicles negative.Still have frequency day and night but dry with ED . Is it just part of healing process still feeling tired during day.Any advice would b appreciated

Fatique, physical and mental is normal at your stage. I was taking a series of naps everyday after full night sleeping.

I was not told to "rest more" however. i was told to walk walk walk, run, and get on with life. How old are you?

Thanks for that. I am 65 years old and have had two other prostate
Operations in last 14 months.

If I were you I'd take daily walks in the Dales or along the Nidderdale. That would have been great for my recovery at your stage.

Yes no hernia,urologist said it may be referred pain from back due to arthritis. I am not to sure about that although they are checking my back out.
Yes a walk in the dales would be nice but T present I get too tired however next to open countryside so access is easy. How come an American knows the Yorkshire Dales?

My dad lives in Pately Bridge. I was there a month ago. Walking is one of the best cures and the Dales are perfect for that. I walked in my suburban gated community style environment after my surgery, not exactly the same thing. Another advantage of the Dales is that even if you leak there would be nobody for miles to notice :)

Go see your doctor about the fatigue, but I'd say that it's part of the physical and mental situation after the process you have been on and that trying to get back to normal lifestyle with some physical activity is very important.

I know pateley bridge I used drive through there to ripon if I wanted to take the scenic route from Skipton to Newcastle.Anyway thanks for your advice and Godbless. I was in New York last year loved it. If I was rich and healthy that's where I would live

If you want to live in NYC "rich" isn't enough anymore :)

I'm trying to end up in London if only I can convince wife and kids to take flight one more time.

Stopped on 48th Street East , saw Phantom of the Opera, Happy Days. When prostate removed also large amount of scar tissue from prostatitis removed could explain some of present discomfort.

very close to my office. I took my daughter and wife to same play a few months ago. My son and I waited in my office because I don't do musicals.

Scar tissue can cause problems. You should have that checked. Others here have discussed that in the past, hopefully they'll chime in.

The scar tissue removed was from previous infections of the prostate ,
I would like to know what sort of on going problems this might cause?
I originally had a TURP done privately with laser but 6 weeks later I was worse than pre op.I was then placed under care of localNHS and had 10 months of hell with ante biotics , I asked them to remove my prostate, they refused saying psa normal. I explained breast cancer history in family and faulty gene. Paid for op in April and cancer as I suspected.

not an expert on scar tissue. I know that it restricts blood flow to the penis and that when my wife gave birth to our second via c-section the scar tissue caused by first made it a frightening experience.
