Knee Surgery Tomorrow

Nothing to do with PCa......thank goodness.     I have a scrambled knee....ligament and cartilage/meniscus damage.    Tomorrow my surgeon will work wonders and I will be running marathons by December!!

This keeps my mind off of PCa as I have another PSA draw in November.

Good luck. Dave had surgery last Thursday for a torn meniscus. He's doing great. Though by Saturday, I was ready to run a "free to a good home" ad in the paper!

I hear ya. I had surgery in 2005 (give or take a year) for two tears in my meniscus and arthritis. It did wonders, although some problems have returned in recent years.

Is it an ACL injury? With my surgery (pretty extensive) I was still able to put weight on it within days and no crutches after a couple of days

Thanks all. Got home a few hours ago and feel great. Primarily meniscus repair. I had several tears. A ligament problem and some cartilage damage at the end of the femur that the doc repaired. Rehab has started and I am not on crutches and will be back in the office Monday.

I had left arthroscopy knee surgery back in 1997 and the same knee again in 2010. Today, the knee feels like new.
