yes, less than, typos. If it was greater than I would have been reading all the radiation and HT threads again by now.

The new nurse called me tonight. I was worried that the old nurse I have gotten so close to wasn't there anymore (is she still at Mt. Sinai???) but this one tuned out to be really nice, warm and knowledgeable. That's a big relief. She asked me why I was so worked up so I told her it was because of my age and how many more of these I have to do. I told her how important it was for me to build a relationship not only with my surgeon but also with her so she suggested we meet when I visit him in December. Sounds stupid, I know, but one day I'll probably need them in my corner to advise me. I view it as my team. long term team.

You know you're borrowing trouble don't you? If you'd said "one day I might need them" that would be more accurate.

okay you're right for up to 20 years, no studies longer than that. Let's just say that it can happen, and if/when it does, I'll need them to help guide me in the right direction and tot he right people.

Hey David, congrats to you Bro! Regarding getting the tests always at same lab with same equipment, absolutely the correct way to go. I made that decision early on and will continue to do so.

In my world of being a subcontractor to large Medical OEM's, we produce medical components and implants such as stents, delivery systems, etc. The amount of accuracy required in not only making these components, but also in measuring the key dimensional aspects as you might imagine are incredibly high. Because of this we are required to perform what is called a "Measurement System Analysis (MSA)" on all of our inspection systems.

MSA is essentially a mathematical method of determining how much the variation within the measurement process contributes to overall process variability. In other words, no matter how accurate a piece of measurement equipment is, there will still be variability. So then for me - I'm not taking the chance on adding the variability between different pieces of equipment - that gets into Gage R&R's and I'm not going into that!
