Dotson, you're acting as a patient advocate for your father, and he is blessed to have you. You can face things he can't, ask questions he won't, reach out to people he wouldn't, and provide obviously loving support he really needs. It's a battle, for sure.
It's a difficult road, and both of you may often find it all you can do just to keep breathing. It will become more "normal' after a while, and perhaps more tolerable. Pain management is really important, and our own Purgatory knows more about that than just about anybody.
No specific advice, but for what it's worth I'm lifting you both up. All the best for you as you work through this, and if I may suggest, stay with this forum to ask, vent, complain, whatever. Many here stay with this forum specifically to try to help people just like you and your father.
Keep fighting, cancer warriors!
