Muscle pain with ADT post IMRT and BRACHY

Hi all!  I haven't posted since completing initial treatments at Dattoli Cancer Center.  Experienced minimal SEs during and after radiation treatment.  Currently half way through 6 months ADT and now I am experiencing what I believe to be muscle pain at night primarily in the rib area and sometimes in the upper legs.  Noticeable when I roll over in the middle of the night. Current meds include Casodex, Proscar, Flomax and just received second 3 month Lupron shot.  All scans prior to treatment were negative. Final staging T3b.  Any thoughts?

First thought - call the doctor and complain.

Likely due to the combination of meds. You should be getting past any radiation related weakness.

I went through the same treatment, but didn't experience any muscle pain, just muscle weakness, atrophy, urinary symptoms, loss of libido. etc,..I did manage to exercise throughout the whole miserable experience, so that might have helped..

I would email the nurse support staff, they always responded to my questions right away

My guess would be your Lupron shot.....I went through a lot of different muscle cramps and especially at night, but as already suggested, if it's that bad you should consult with your ONC.
