As I mentioned on another post, I recently went to Dr. John Mulhall for an initial visit to discuss ED rehab. I got more than I bargained for when he diagnosed me with Peyronie's disease and undersized testicles.
Well, further tests look like mostly good news.
1) My testicles are slightly smaller than normal.
Good news: Two separate blood tests show that my testosterone level is fine so nothing to worry about
here.
2) I had a sonogram of my erection (a slightly odd experience).
Good news: Excellent blood flow and no venous leak, etc.
3) I had a detailed examination of my Peyronie's situation.
Bad news: I have
significant Peyronie's scar/plaque tissue.
Good news: There is essentially no curvature of willy, because of the particular size/shape of my scar tissue.
More good news: The scar/plaque is not expected to get any worse.
Kinda bad news: I still need to use a
penile traction device (ahem, "torture device") for the next 4 months.
Good news:
Traction also makes willy bigger, permanently.
4) Injections and pills pretty much stopped working for me starting about
a month ago.
Bad news: When I attempt to be intimate with my wife, my body apparently goes into "anxiety" mode and releases adrenaline which kills erections. (Note: I don't feel anxious, and I have no idea why this issue would have begun suddenly a month ago.)
Good news: When not attempting intimacy, injections still work great, and I'm getting much better erections using pills than what I was getting a few weeks ago - so good ED progress has occurred in the last few weeks.
All things considered, I think that this is mostly good news.
