Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a healthy new year!
I am getting some very swollen ankles when standing to much. Never had before. Wonder if is just part of the course, post radiation or from zoladex or maybe could be edema. I have it only now and again. Xmas day they were very swollen. Still taking flowmax and I am now 2 months since radiation finished

Just wondered it anyone has the same.

No explanation, if it keeps up, make sure you report it to your doctor. Hope it resolves itself for you.

Doubt it's related to radiation but sounds like something to talk to your doctor about. Could be a lot of things not all related to your PC.

Just one thing - how much walking and exercise are you able to get? That often helps with edema. Well, at least it works for and it worked for my father.

My father gets oedema of his ankles and this is when he is on his feet too much. Keeping his feet elevated when he is sitting or lying down and wearing special socks helps him a lot.

You may want to bring this up with your doctor.

It can be an SE of the radiation, especially if your legs weren't immobilized during treatment. Do compression stockings help?
