It's been about six months since my IGRT and in the past month I've being experiencing the ( may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your balls) curse. Dam its like just touching my scrotum sets off this cascade of extreme itching which also includes the perineum acompanied by a burning rash, I been using lotions, cortisone creams you name it even coconut oil, I must have the softest nut sack in the world.:-) Anyone else had this experience and is there any particular product you found really
works. Maybe I should change my name to scratches.

Lol, Gear I cant say I have this particular problem (55yr old fem) but I saw your post and thought you probably could care less where the help comes from right? Try vagisil cream. You can find it in the feminine products at the pharmacy or usually even the local grocery stores.

We tend to have such problems during HRT and this tends to work better then things you mentioned! Isn't expensive so worth trying?

Hey I'm willing to try anything :-) isn't vagasil for yeast infection hell I don't know long as I can walk around not feeling I have a cat hanging off me. Now there's a mental picture.

Its used for symptoms of yeast infection yes but the symptoms are ungodly, blood letting itching!!

I just remembered something we use to use post vasectomy, for itching stitches, also and that was Solarcaine, the sunburn spray? It worked good too! Those guys loved it! Said the "coolness " from the spray alone was a relief?

Hope you find some relief and the cat picture was too much! I woke everyone in the house laughing!!! I'm sorry, I know it can't be too fun for you.

It sure sounds like jock itch to me. Have you tried an anti-fungal with Butenafine in it (Lotrimin Ultra)? It seems to be the best and fastest OTC medicine for jack itch. I sometimes mix it with a dab of hydrocortisone to hold down the symptoms while it works.

There is, by the way, no particular reason to assume your problem is related to your radiation. if it continues to persist, just go to your regular doctor and complain.

Will never forget my first trip to the doc with a yeast infection. He had me call my girlfriend to come by (after determining that I didn't have several, lest his office become a crime scene). Seems I got it from her.

Don't remember the med, but something that I mentioned to a dermatologist years later - he freaked out, saying it wasn't considered safe anymore.

Hey, maybe that's what caused my PCa???

Thanks for the replies I know is not laundry related, jock itch don't know never had it but I will check it out. nvrthesame98 glad I gave you a good laugh gota fine humor where ever we can. It sgood for the soul. Ok..back to the drug store.

Been there done that, dermotoligist says it is a fungas, gave me Econazole nitrate cream 1 percent, did not phase it then Econozole 2 percent, still no reliefe, was using cordazone 10 he says do not use it as it contains steroids which make it worse, have tried every kind of spraycan over counter fixes with no results. doc says it is caused by sweating balls and after shower dry good with hairdryer, I find that Gold Bond extra stength cream applied a couple times a day works best.

Your situation sounds like a college buddy,   He was huge and played on the offensive line of a Big 10 football team.   Turns out he was alergic to beer.  When he would have any at all his balls would swell double size and he would itch from his knees to navel.......excruciating.   Finally when we knew he and his new girlfriend were about to get super friendly we slipped him a little beer and the night was a bust.    He finally forgave us and he is still married to her with many kids and grands.

Don't know what you have but stay off the beer and don't scratch.   Suggest you don't wear wool either.

Just got back from visit with doc its not fungal, he's kind of at a loss thinks mabye nerve related but not sure. Well.........back to scratchen
