lotsa... I'm confused how they diagnosed you? Your PSA was 2.7? I was told anything under 4 was good for someone my age. How did you get from a 2.7 to surgery? Just curious.
Best wishes on clear pathology.

Upon doing the DRE, Dr. Found a "bump". He asked me what I wanted to do. I said biopsy ASAP. Found cancer on both lobes, albeit very small on left side. Although my Gleason was only 3+3, I decided because of my age (68), and still in decent shape, to do divinci ASAP. I just wanted it out immediately. My personality being what it is, watchfully waiting or active surveillance wasn't for mr.

Tomorrow is catheter removal day for you. A lot of guys are nervous about
this event. Really is no biggie, feels very similar to when they pulled the drain out.
Life will get easier after it's out, you are well on your way to recovery

Lotsa,
When you go to get the hose let out don't forget to take along some high-capacity incontinence underwear (Depends or some other bulky, embarrassing to buy pull-ups) since most guys leak quite a bit for the first couple of days (at least). If you turn out to be one of the lucky men who is dry right away you can donate your unused undies to a local food bank and be a philanthropisst.
Good luck. Let us know what the doctor says about
your post-op pathology. Ask him for a copy, there's often too much to remember. Hopefully there will be no reason to remember it either.

Hope all is moving along well for you. I had my surgery on the 7th and Im hopefully getting my cath out tomorrow also. They are suppose to do a cystogram on me first I believe to make sure all is good before they pull it.

Congratulations. 3+2... Wow. You're a 5. I think you're the first one I've ever heard about
.
Continued good news on incontinence.
