Degarelix vs. Lupron begining HT ?

Was wondering if anyone has been treated with degarelix as a 1st line of Ht.. If so, how are your results. From what I've been reading it sounds as if it has better results., and no T flare.
If this is so, why are some on casodex also.
Also, at what PSA should you start HT, after RP and SRT ?

PSA doubling time every 3 mo., no mets , and PSA 1.0

What has your oncologist presented as the potential options at this point? Has there been any suggestion of chemo with the ht? or any trials?
